Privacy Policy

SO Tracking (“the app”) is a private time- and activity-tracking app for a small group of users. This policy explains what the app collects and why. In short: only what's needed to make the app work — no ads, no analytics, and we never sell or share your data.

What we collect

• Your name — the name you enter on first launch, shown to your team members.
• Time-tracking entries — the sessions you record (category, start and end times, and any notes you add).
• Location — when you record a session the app saves a start location, and for the Travel and Forest categories it can record the route, so you can see where a session happened. Route tracking can be turned off per category in Settings.
• Account info — by default the app is used anonymously. If you choose “Use on another device”, we store your Google account email and name so your data can sync across your devices.

How we use it

Your data is used only to provide the app's features: recording sessions, showing your history and statistics, drawing your route on a map, and sharing category totals with the team you join. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking technologies.

Sharing

We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own use. If you join a team, the other members of that team can see your name, your recorded totals, and your latest session status — but never your detailed sessions, notes, or precise locations.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Firebase processes data only on our behalf as our hosting provider.

Deleting your data

You can have all of your data permanently deleted at any time. Email hello@isakpersson.com from the address associated with your account (or include your name as shown in the app), and we will delete your profile, sessions, and location data.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
